SC SHARE is proud to partner with The SC Department of Mental Health’s Mobile Crisis Program and has part time job opportunities for Certified Peer Support Specialists

Located throughout the state, SCDMH’s Mobile Crisis Teams respond 24/7 to psychiatric emergencies. Mobile Crisis Clinicians and Peer Support Specialists may respond while law enforcement is still on scene to the location of a crisis and provide assessment and referral to appropriate resources.

Additionally, Mobile Crisis CPSSs provide post crisis follow up with individuals and families who have received Mobile Crisis services. Mobile Crisis CPSSs also provide crisis preventive services through outreach and recovery support.
We are immediately hiring several Mobile Crisis Certified Peer Support Specialists for each of the following Community Mental Health Centers’ teams:

Aiken Barnwell, serving Aiken and Barnwell Counties.
​
Anderson Oconee Pickens, serving those three counties.
​
Tri-County, serving Marlboro, Dillon, and Chesterfield Counties.
​
Beckman, serving Laurens, Greenwood, Edgefield, Newberry, Saluda, Abbeville, and McCormick Counties.
Requirements:
Travel within the assigned Mental Health Center’s catchment area.
Must have a valid Driver’s License.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must be Certified or able to become Certified as a Peer Support Specialist (associated cost paid for by SCDMH)
This is an on call one week on one week off schedule:
Monday-Friday 5pm-8am Saturday and Sunday 24hours
Salary and Benefits:
Salary up to $23,000.00/yr.
Work related travel is reimbursed at the federal reimbursement rate.
One-time $1,000.00 Bonus after completing 6 months of continuous satisfactory employment.
Early and No Cost Access to both SC SHARE and SCDMH training and events (WRAP, i-Fprs, Conferences, Events, CEU’s, etc.)
Work related technology provided by SCDMH.
Peer Support Supervision provided by SC SHARE.

Compliance Officer
Duties include: supporting client treatment services with attendance records, drug screenings, and payment for services.
HOURS: Monday-Thursday from 5:00-8:00pm and occasional Saturday mornings at 285 Cedarcrest Drive, Lexington, South Carolina 29072.
