- Vicarious Trauma Training
- Learn about “The Helpers Syndrome,” the definition of vicarioustrauma, and how it differs from other types of work stres
- Examine which factors determine whether or not a provider is at risk for vicarious trauma and discuss prevention strategies.
- Self-assess the extent to which they are impacted by vicarious trauma in terms of personal and professional functioning
- Explore the components of a trauma-sensitive workplace environment, and ways to support providers in their daily work, protecting them from the impact of the trauma we are exposed to on a daily basis.
