I am proud to share with you that Larry's story of hope and recovery from bipolar illness has been written by Richard M. Cohen in his book, "Strong At The Broken Places" was released by HarperCollins Publishers on January 2, 2008.

Richard Cohen who is a three time Emmy-award winning journalist, producer and New York Times Best Selling author of "Blindsided" has lived with multiple sclerosis for over 25 years. Cohen spent three years chronicling the lives of Larry along with four other people with disabilities or chronic illnesses who through their remarkable and inspirational stories "offer a chorus of hope."

On January 9, Larry and his story will be featured on the Today Show at 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. EST.  Cohen and the five people from the book will be appearing live on the Today Show following the segment on Larry.   

During the week of the Today Show, Bill and Sally Montgomery of Atlanta, Larry's brother and sister-in-law, and I will join Larry in New York City to support and celebrate.
